This is Managua Today: Images from the City and the OrMu-Sphere on a Saturday Morning.

Nicaraguans are ready to march today, after UNAB and the University Coalition decided to defy the police, by not canceling. At this hour, Managua is completely militarized.

Over on the OrMu-sphere, The OrMu administration counter-programmed against the march, by calling on its faithful, middle-aged followers to participate in the “First National Encounter of Juventud Sandinista Founders.”  The OrMu Propaganda Machine has also peppered their social media with images from last night’s Nicaragua v. Puerto Rico game, as well as the Police’s press statement forbidding the march.

Here are images from around Managua and the OrMusphere.

Meanwhile, in the OrMusphere, Viva Nicaragua 13 reminds everyone NOT TO MARCH TODAY, with this Tweet that reads “Given its importance, we re-share the Police’s statement forbidding any activity that may alter the tranquility of Nicaraguan families.”…

And for those in the audience who prefer having statements read to them, here is Commissioner Jaime Vanegas Vega, at your service.

On other corners of the OrMu-Sphere, Radio Sandino and Canal 4 documented the First National Encounter of Juventud Sandinista Founders. The Juventud Sandinista has been around since the 1980s. Canal 4 describes participants as “The youth of yesterday and today.”

… and every part of the OrMu Propaganda Machine celebrated victory against Puerto Rico (don’t go to them for news!)
